ThermoSonic equipment shipment

ThermoSonic™ technology is designed for international industrial deployment with support for local assembly, regional participation and localization initiatives.

Oman Industrial Localization & Deployment
Regional assembly and field implementation aligned with In-Country Value initiatives.
Project Overview

ThermoSonic™ systems were deployed in Oman (2023-2025) as part of an international industrial localization initiative associated with:

  • In-Country Value (ICV)
  • Made in Oman

The project included:

  • engineering manufacturing of core systems (September 2023 - Janury 2024);
  • international logistics (December 2023 - March 2024);
  • regional assembly in Oman (15 March - 15 April 2024);
  • field deployment on operational oilfield infrastructure (February - March 2025).

STAGE 1 — ENGINEERING & MANUFACTURING (September 2023 - January 2024)
Core ThermoSonic™ systems were engineered and manufactured by Research and Production Bureau ENERGIA prior to international deployment.
STAGE 2 — EXPORT LOGISTICS (December 2023 - March 2024)
From snow-covered workshop to Oman desert deployment.
After factory testing, ThermoSonic™ systems and auxiliary equipment were prepared for shipment from Russia to Oman.
STAGE 3 — ARRIVAL & REGIONAL ASSEMBLY IN OMAN (15 March - 15 April 2024)

Following delivery to Oman, the systems were assembled and prepared for field deployment in alignment with regional industrial localization initiatives associated with:

  • Made in Oman
  • In-Country Value (ICV)
STAGE 4 — FIELD DEPLOYMENT & COMMISSIONING (February - March 2025)
ThermoSonic™ systems were transported to operational oilfield infrastructure for installation and commissioning on active pipeline systems.
OPERATIONAL RESULTS
Successful deployment of ThermoSonic™ systems on heavy-oil flowlines in southern Oman.

  • Reduction of flowline backpressure by 20–45%, improving flow stability under winter operating conditions.
  • Restoration of continuous production in previously non-flowing wells affected by high oil viscosity during cold periods.
  • Up to 35% production increase observed after ThermoSonic™ deployment and well optimization.
  • Stable operation achieved while maintaining external flowline temperatures below 65°C, protecting plastic-lined infrastructure.
  • Lower energy consumption compared to conventional thermal methods, without chemical injection or invasive pipeline modification.
